A New Year & A New Era for ‘Dark September’

Back in September 2019, old and new friends came together with a shared love for music and a simple desire to have some fun. Not for stardom or chart-topping ambitions, but for the sheer joy of making music that resonates.

As fate would have it, the world faced an unprecedented challenge in the form of COVID-19 shortly after our humble beginnings. Undeterred by the chaos, we embraced the isolation, channeling our collective energy into individual recordings for what would become ‘The Isolation Sessions.’ The longing for the stage lingered, but during those quiet moments, we discovered a renewed appreciation for the creative process.

However, life took an unexpected turn, and we bid farewell to one of our founding members. Through the ebb and flow of change, we persevered, undertaking the journey of auditions and musical exploration until we welcomed Stevie, our newest member, to hold down the fort on bass.

Stevie’s passion and prowess injected fresh vigor into our musical endeavors, prompting us to mark the beginning of a new chapter. With that, we proudly introduce ‘Deadlock’—a moniker that echoes our resilience, evolution, and unwavering commitment to the art of rock. Alongside this rebranding comes a new website, and soon, new content and dates.
